No one waits for monsoon like my city does!

Mercury read 35 but it feels worse than 40 degree. More than the heat, sweat irritates d most. I feel like I have become a night dwelling creature, who creeps out of its den only in evenings or nights.

Though it rained today and previous mornings that is not sufficient, and that’s not true monsoon also. Maybe a drizzle or two in early hours of dusk when mercury hits to some low. It feels good, but not for long. Clock struck 7 am and one starts to feel like its 9 already. Again I slowly crawl back to my shelter only to wait till the Sun goes down. But even then humidity is still there. Thats why nights are nowadays more hotter than the days.

Its only few more days, and monsoon will b here, only few days to go.

Every year its the same story. People or rather entire city looks up in the sky watching the clouds form and go. Yes, they r monsoon clouds alright but still some time to go. Now sunsets and sunrises have become too beautiful thanks to these clouds but still no sign of rains. Its going to take some time.

Every year its the same story… Monsoon is going to test the patience of city, before striking with all its glory. Till then its a long wait, yes it feels like eternity.

Surely it feels like, no one waits for monsoon like my city does!

  1. Maybe you need just a little bit of snow? (which we don’t have much right now). Best of luck Mayur. Keep cool.
