A Blurry Sunset…

50mm lens is particularly not the right choice when it comes to shooting sunset or more precisely shooting landscapes. Still on that day I had carried only this lens and not the old kit lens. 50mm has a static focal length no zoom or wide. It’s like, you get what you see. And perhaps this is the best attribute of this lens.

The view through viewfinder, while this lens is attached to camera is the same as you would normally see with your bare eyes. In a way its like capturing what you are actually seeing. Zoom or wide lenses distort the vision but that is not the case here.

Before you begin to check my images there’s one confession: I have cropped couple of images just to make them look better. In a way it’s zooming actually,  kind of digital zoom. But all other images have their original frame.
