We missed our ferry-boat that roams within the internals of Periyar Tiger Reserve. Now we had an ample amount of time and simply nothing to do. Disappointed we decided to walk till the Periyar Lake which lies inside the national park at about 3 kms.
We reached just in time to see the water boats leaving the small jetty. Despite reaching in time, only reason we couldn’t board onto it, was all its tickets were sold off….
Nevertheless we had a great time walking, chit chatting and snapping on our way to and fro on the national park road.
